Festival Queens from 1960

Recently discovered and passed to the Society – a photo album from the estate of Mary Langman (dec.) with some lovely pictures of the Festival Queens and attendants from past years.

The Festival was a feature of the Methodist Church calendar and was celebrated annually at the Methodist Central Hall. Girls were chosen from all the Methodist churches in Plymouth. . Mary Langman was a member of the Methodist church in the village and an avid photographer.
